About MindShift Books

MindShift Books started as a digital publishing platform selling eBooks in PDF format, and has grown into a content and community platform. Alongside our own published eBooks, members can build a profile, publish articles and posts to a shared feed, follow other members, and join our affiliate program. Products & Delivery

All products sold on MindShift Books are digital eBooks delivered in PDF format. Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your download link(s). You can also access your purchases anytime by signing in to My Account.

• Delivery is instant — download links are generated immediately after payment is confirmed.
• If you do not receive your email within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder.
• Download links do not expire. You can re-download your books at any time from My Account.

Payments

All payments are processed securely by Paystack. MindShift Books does not store or have access to your card details at any point. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paystack's terms of service.

Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦). All transactions are final upon successful payment confirmation from Paystack.

Refund Policy

Because our products are digital and delivered instantly upon payment, all sales are generally final. However, we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following situations:

• You were charged but did not receive your download link and could not access it via My Account.
• You were charged twice for the same order.
• You received a file that was corrupted or unreadable.

To request a refund, email contact@mindshiftbooks.shop with your order reference number and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Accounts & Community

You can create a MindShift Books account with an email and password, or by signing in with Google or Microsoft. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account.

• One account per person. The information on your profile should be accurate and shouldn't impersonate anyone else.
• We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, including through the content rules below.

Articles, Posts & Community Content

Members can publish articles and posts to the MindShift Books feed. You keep ownership of what you write, but by publishing it you grant MindShift Books a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute it on the platform, so other members can read and engage with it.

• You're solely responsible for the content you publish, and it should be your own work or something you have the right to share.
• Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or infringing on someone else's rights.
• We may remove content, or restrict or suspend an account, that breaks these rules.
• Views expressed in member articles and posts are those of the individual author, not MindShift Books.

Intellectual Property

Books, content, and materials authored and published by MindShift Books are owned by MindShift Books and protected by copyright. When you purchase a book, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to read it for your own use.

• You may not share, resell, reproduce, or distribute any purchased eBook without written permission.
• You may not claim authorship of any content purchased from MindShift Books.
• Articles and posts published by members on the feed remain the property of their authors, under the licence described above.

Affiliate Program

Members can join our free affiliate program to earn a commission on sales made through their own referral link or code.

• Commission is calculated on the actual price paid by the referred customer, and is paid out by direct bank transfer.
• Affiliates must promote honestly — no spam, misleading claims, or impersonation of MindShift Books.
• We may adjust commission rates, pause, or end the program, or remove an affiliate for violating these terms.

Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

• Name and email address — collected at checkout and account sign-up to deliver your order, manage your account, and send confirmation emails. We do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.
• Account & profile information — if you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive the basic profile info (name, email) those providers share. Anything you add to your profile (photo, bio) and anything you publish (articles, posts, comments) is stored to power your account and, where you choose to publish it, is visible to other members.
• Engagement data — likes, follows, bookmarks, and reading activity are stored to personalize your feed and recommendations.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Paystack. We only receive confirmation that a payment was made and the email address used. We never see your card number or bank details.
• Order records — your name, email, order reference, and purchase details are stored securely in our database, tied to your account, so you can access My Account anytime.
• Affiliate payout details — if you join our affiliate program, we collect the bank account details needed to pay your commission.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes. We use Brevo to send transactional emails (order confirmations, account and affiliate updates) and Firebase to power accounts, sign-in, and our database. We do not run advertising and no ad networks have access to your data.

If you would like your data deleted, email contact@mindshiftbooks.shop and we will remove your account and order records within 7 business days.

Results described or implied in any book are not guaranteed and will vary based on individual effort, circumstances, and other factors outside our control. Articles and posts published by members reflect the views of their individual authors, not MindShift Books.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at mindshiftbooks.shop/legal. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
